We have been supplying stairlifts from our location in Teesside since 1976, when the company was founded as “Project and Design”, manufacturing the Stair-El stairlift for private customers and local authorities.
Since 1999 we have been part of the global technology giant thyssenkrupp, and today, as the reseller division of thyssenkrupp Access Ltd., we supply a network of partners across the globe with stairlifts, platform lifts and home lifts.
In 2006 we introduced our market-leading Flow2 stairlift with patented Advanced Swivel and Levelling (ASL) technology. The Flow2 has been installed on curved staircases across the world, including a record-breaking lift with 29 curves, fitted on a spiral staircase at the very top of the 601m tall Abraj Al-Bait Clock Tower in Mecca.
Our head office is in Stockton-on-Tees, in North East England, one of the most dynamic and globally-focused regions of the United Kingdom. We also have sales offices in Dubai and Singapore as well as a number of regional sales and technical staff located across Europe.
Our products are manufactured in the Netherlands and Italy. We offer technical training facilities in the UK, the Netherlands, Italy and Spain or training can be arranged at a location to suit you.
We also arrange additional sales or technical seminars across Europe, as required, to keep our partners up to date with the latest developments and we attend a number of major trade exhibitions every year.
