8 September - 1 October, Düsseldorf, Germany. Hall 3, Stand D68
Preparations are well underway for the biggest event in our calendar: the annual REHACARE exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany. The stand has been designed, new demonstration products have been ordered, we’re putting the final touches to our new brochures, and tickets are going out every day to our partners across Europe.
REHACARE is one of Europe’s biggest shows in the independent living sector, showcasing products such as mobility aids, assistance equipment, communications technology, patient-care, and products for leisure, travel and sports. It attracts a wide range of visitors: health-care professionals, people with disabilities or their relatives, public authorities, construction companies, schools and anyone who has an interest in making life easier for people with disabilities. With a wide range of products and services on offer, REHACARE is also major event for many of our partners, and we’re looking forward to a busy week talking about how our special brand of high-end products backed up by superior service can keep people moving up and down stairs in safety and comfort.
The new stand has been designed to highlight the capabilities of all our products, including the market-leading Flow2 fitted on a full-sized staircase and a Gulliver Elegance vertical platform lift to take visitors to the upper-level meeting rooms. The Flow2 is the only stairlift in the world with automatic swivelling and levelling (ASL), a unique technology that allows the chair to adjust its position continuously as it travels, taking the user up or down the stairs in one flowing, uninterrupted movement. Both the rail and the programming are tailor-made to the user’s needs, after a full assessment and staircase survey by a trained technician.
We have recently completely redesigned the drive unit of the Flow, and the model on our stand will be equipped with this new 2A motor, which provides the end-user with an even quieter, smoother and more energy-efficient ride, and makes installation and programming easier for technicians.
In additional to the Flow2 and Gulliver, visitors to the stand will be able to try out the HomeGlide lift for straight staircases, and the Supra range of inclined platform lifts for wheelchair users. The Supra can be installed indoors or outdoors, on straight or curved staircases, making it a universal solution, particularly for public access requirements.
At REHACARE 2016 you’ll be able to meet our sales and technical teams on Stand D68, Hall 3 for discussions throughout the show, and we’ve teamed up with our colleagues from thyssenkrupp Germany so that the stand covers all sectors of the market. Our products make life easier every day for hundreds and thousands of people: we help elderly people to continue living in their own homes, we help businesses and public organisations to welcome everyone through their doors, and we help our partners to offer the best products and service in the industry.
