Access BDD Strengthens U.S. Presence with New Florida Office and Training Center
Access BDD, a leading global provider of stair lifts and platform lifts, is proud to announce the opening of a new North America facility in Largo, Florida. Located at 12505 Starkey Rd, Suite B, this new U.S. office marks a significant milestone in Access BDD’s ongoing North American expansion and reinforces the company’s long-term commitment to growth, innovation, and dealer support across the region.
Strategically Located in Largo, Florida
Located outside Tampa, the new Largo facility is a convenient hub for dealers across North America. Minutes from beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, the vibrant cities of Tampa and St. Petersburg, and a host of local attractions, the facility provides an appealing and welcoming environment for dealers traveling from near and far. This prime location supports Access BDD’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the U.S. market by offering a central base for comprehensive training, administration, and dealer support within the dynamic Tampa Bay area.

The new facility represents a major investment in the company’s U.S. operations and is designed to serve as both an administrative base and a dedicated hands-on training center for Access BDD’s growing network of dealers. The site offers a purpose-built environment where partners can experience products firsthand, gain in-depth technical knowledge, and build confidence in installation and servicing techniques for Access stair lifts, the HomeGlide and Flow X, as well as platform lifts such as the Supra Linea.
“Establishing a permanent base in the U.S. is a pivotal step in our journey to becoming the global brand of choice for home mobility solutions,” said Melissa Davies, Head of Business Development North America. “With this new facility, we are strengthening our presence in the market, enhancing support for our dealers, and reinforcing our long-term commitment to North America.”
Empowering Dealers through Hands-On Training and Support
The Largo facility serves as a dynamic training hub where dealers can gain hands-on experience with Access BDD’s products. This investment in dealer education ensures that partners are confident and knowledgeable in installing and servicing both curved and straight stair lifts as well as platform lifts.
At the training center, dealers also get the chance to learn what makes Access BDD’s stair lifts stand out. From the precision-engineered Flow X, designed to fit the narrowest and most complex staircases with its custom-built single rail system, to the reliable and versatile HomeGlide, our range offers solutions tailored to meet a wide variety of home layouts. Understanding these unique features firsthand enables dealers to provide customers with the best possible fit and service.
By offering this dedicated space for technical training and collaboration, Access BDD strengthens relationships with its dealer network, a cornerstone of its ongoing company expansion in the USA and long-term commitment to the region.
Looking Ahead: A Sustained Commitment to the North American Market
Since launching its North American office, Access BDD has taken major steps to reinforce its position in the U.S. market. The Largo facility stands as a testament to the company’s dedication to delivering quality mobility solutions and robust dealer support throughout North America.
